What a delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm lighting and cheerful buzz of conversation. The décor has a lovely blend of modern and traditional styles; you can really tell thought went into creating a comfortable environment. I decided to start with the homemade soup of the day, which was wonderfully hearty and flavourful—perfect for the chilly evening. For my main course, I went for the fish and chips, and it was simply divine! The fish was fresh and crispy, and the chips were golden and fluffy, just how I like them. I also appreciated the variety of vegetarian options on the menu, which isn’t always easy to find in pubs. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations without being pushy. One small critique would be that the music was a tad too loud at times, making conversation a bit tricky. However, this didn’t detract much from what was otherwise a fantastic evening! I left feeling relaxed and happy, and I can’t wait to come back with friends.

I visited this charming pub recently, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with rustic wooden beams and quirky decor that really adds character. I tried their signature burger, which was juicy and cooked to perfection, and paired beautifully with a local ale recommended by the staff. Speaking of the staff, they were incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive. My only minor issue was that it got quite busy later in the evening, so booking a table in advance might be a good idea. All in all, I left feeling satisfied and eager to return soon!
